Conclusions: our study demonstrated the smartphonebased medication management may be able to be an effective intervention to improve the living donor renal transplantation patients’ compliance. Most recipients were willing to adopt smartphone-based post-operative medication reminder. Further studies will focus on smartphone app design and discuss whether smartphone based medical adherence intervention could improve the long-term outcomes of renal transplantation.
